Aerodrome Safeguarding
Spear CE has significant experience in providing aerodrome safeguarding services.
Each airport has a series of safeguarded surfaces which are designed to protect an aircraft during approach and take-off. The configuration of the surfaces is dependent on the type of aircraft operating from the airport and the navigation facilities available.
We are able to offer the following services:
- Advice on the configuration of safeguarded surfaces
- Analysis of existing obstacle environment
- Analysis of potential new developments in relation to safeguarding
- Runway feasibility studies
